Terms of Service
Effective date: July 27, 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Icon Builders Co. website and business management application (the “Service”), operated by Icon Drywall Works Inc DBA Icon Builders Co., a licensed California contractor (Lic. #1140320). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Your data
You retain ownership of the business records, documents, and data you enter into the Service. You grant us only the rights needed to host, process, and display that data in order to operate the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Bank connections and bookkeeping
If you connect a bank account through Plaid, you authorize us to retrieve account and transaction data for your own bookkeeping. Automated categorization and financial summaries are provided for convenience and do not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice — review your books and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe’s terms. Construction services are governed by the written contract or estimate for the specific project, not by these terms.
Acceptable use
You may not attempt to access another user’s data, interfere with or disrupt the Service, reverse engineer it, or use it to transmit malware or unlawful content.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, with notice where practicable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where appropriate, communicated to account holders.
